Dear Birthmother,

Welcome! Thank you for stopping to take a look at our letter.  We are Larry, Laurie & Mackenzie Anderson.  Although we’ve yet to meet you, we hope this letter will open the door to that possibility.  We are in awe of you and we’ve tried to imagine the strength and selflessness involved as you search for a family with whom to entrust your baby.  We are very excited about a relationship created with integrity, humanity, honesty and choice.  That is exactly why we decided to build our family through open adoption. 

In October 2005, we were blessed with the open adoption of our daughter Mackenzie Faye.  She has brought such joy to our lives.  We delight as she reaches each new milestone.  Mackenzie is special to so many people.  Her grandparents, aunts, friends, and birthmother love and cherish her beyond what we could have imagined.  We love being a family of three and are thankful for our blessings every day, but we'd love to share our lives with a second child.  We look forward to having a positive and respectful relationship with you, the baby’s birthmother.  What a lucky baby he or she will be to have so many people to love!
